If you did not know Microsoft has been spending a lot of time tweaking Outlook 2007 to work better with large mailboxs as they push for 10GB mailboxes in Exchange.
If you have ever had a large mailbox in Outlook you have seen it hang or take a long tim to startup, or not close properly.

Today Microsoft released Exchange 2007 SP1 RU6 this is a critical rollup to apply and should be put on without hesitation

I had not brought this up as I thought RU5 was suppose to have the fix in it however I just was on a call and it sounds like this was never added to the current RU.
There is an issue when you enabled NTLM authentication in Outlook Anywhere when Exchange is installed on Windows 2008.
