My name is Brian Tirch and I have been working with Microsoft Exchange for a number of years. My job has led me into working heavily with Microsoft on the next version(s) of Microsoft Exchange from early beta to RTM of the product. Once the product is released, I start over working on the next version before the paint gets dry.

I started to participate in some forums and found that I was answering similar questions on a regular basis and instead of retyping the answers; I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog dedicated to the common questions that I see related to Microsoft Exchange. So here we have version 2.0 of the Exchange-Genie website which has just launched Jan 12 2009.

Why Exchange Genie?

Well, I was trying to think of a catchy name and though that a genie normally grants wishes and its my goal at assist those Exchange Admins in need. We all sat in front of the screen trying to figure out what next or how too at one time or another. If I can same a fellow Exchange person grief and help them understand Microsoft Exchange then I have achieved my goal.

What do I do in my spare time?

During the winter I attempt to become a bear and hibernate but I get bored to quick :) , I have been training in mixed martial arts for a number of years at Trident Academy where I have been practicing Muy Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitzu.

When spring hits I still play in an adult baseball league and have put together a home gym to work out a few days a week to try and stay in shape.

I hope that the work I have done on the blog can assist and provide an easier way to keep up with all things about Microsoft Exchange.
