Yesterday Microsoft released the latested service pack for Exchange 2010 and as with most SP released a few new features have been added to the product. The most notable item is ABS – Adress book Segmentation which will allow via policy you to control which user can see each other in the gal. Exchange 2007 SP2 Released

I have been Beta testing Exchange 2007 SP2 for many months now along with Exchange 2010 and Microsoft has released the final product as of today. If you plan on deploying Exchange 2010 into your Exchange 2007 envrionment SP2 will be a requirement.

Office 2007 SP2 released

Microsoft released Office 2007 SP2, which I recommend to install and donwload. If you did not install the interm hotfixes which are apart of SP2 you will see a noticeable performance increase.

Outlook 2007 Hotfix

If you did not know Microsoft has been spending a lot of time tweaking Outlook 2007 to work better with large mailboxs as they push for 10GB mailboxes in Exchange.

If you have ever had a large mailbox in Outlook you have seen it hang or take a long tim to startup, or not close properly.

Outlook 2007 SP2 is intended to fix many of these issues but has not been released yet, but luckily Microsoft saw the benefits and has released a hotfix that you can download ( http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=961752 ) and start experiencing the performance enhancements for Outlook 2007

I must say I just installed this, so I don’t have any feedback at this time but I would recommend you installing the fix.
